Proprietress Welcome Address

Dear Parents, Guardians and Visitors to our school,

I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your family to Beloved Lifewalk Montessori School, where a strong foundation for the future is formed. I'd also love to congratulate the new students; you and your parents have made a fantastic decision in choosing Beloved Lifewalk Montessori School. Every student is treated equally in this environment, with no undue emphasis on performance or favoritism. We are dedicated to delivering a challenging and rigorous curriculum that allows each student to advance at their own pace while maintaining a safe environment for all children.

"We cannot achieve tremendous things in this life, with tremendous love, we can only do modest things." - Teresa of Avila Mother Theresa expresses vital advice about how to approach life (and schooling) to make it more rewarding and meaningful in her quote. Teaching and learning provide us with multiple opportunities to focus on a variety of little things that over time culminate in students who are prepared to perform the big things in life.

With this in mind, we are ultimately judged as a school community by our students' behaviors and how new student learning links to and effects the world outside of our school. Because we think that we learn better with and through the arts, BLMS is devoted to incorporating the arts into learning opportunities. This devotion is reflected in our mission statement: "With the support of staff, BLMS students explore, express and excel academically and creatively.

We use the arts to spark interest, deepen comprehension, and improve learning for all of our students in collaboration with our parents."

We also value each child's social and emotional development as they progress from elementary school to early adolescence. We believe in lifelong learning and strive to make your child's time at BLMS enjoyable and stimulating. It is my obligation as the principal of Beloved Lifewalk Montessori School to maintain and continue to establish a friendly and collaborative atmosphere at our school. It is my sincere hope that your visit to Beloved Lifewalk Montessori School will be fruitful. The teachers are lovely, attentive, and pleasant. I encourage you to be open-minded and eager to learn. I wish you the best of luck.

The Principal,
Mrs. Aluko.
